The Lucerna Palace at Wenceslas square is known to everyone. And as we all know, Prague constantly surprises and gradually reveals further treasures. One of them is a newly opened for current summer season a rooftop terrace of this palace, form which – of course! – one may enjoy wonderful and alluring view. The roofs and spires of the familiar buildings now appear from a bit different perspective from this height. The afternoon sunshire covers the city panorama with charming and nostalgic glow. But this is not the end. On the terrace you can have a cup of coffee or a drink, play chess or dance to live (or recorded) swing. The ideal place to gang out on a lazy day. There is a cherry on this cake: you get there by paternoster elevator, one of the few left in the city. This will evoke additional thrilling impressions to both older and younger visitors. The terrace is open till 21st September on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 3 p.m. till 9 10 p.m.
